Extra repayments calculator
See how paying a little more each period could reduce the interest you pay and the time it takes to own your home.
Results are estimates based on the figures you enter and the example rate shown. They aren't a quote, an offer of credit or a guide to what a lender will approve.

Regular versus one-off repayments
A regular extra amount is added to each scheduled repayment. A one-off lump sum is applied in the period you choose. Both reduce the balance earlier, which reduces future interest and can shorten the loan.
Check your loan's rules first
Many variable loans allow unlimited extra repayments, but fixed-rate loans often cap them and may charge break costs above the cap. Some products limit redraw of extra repayments. Confirm your contract before relying on an estimate.
Calculations are estimates for general information only. They do not constitute a loan offer, credit approval or personalised financial advice. Actual repayments, fees, eligibility and savings depend on your lender, loan contract and circumstances. Speak with a qualified professional before making a decision.
