Working with Peter

How working with Peter works

No jargon, no pressure and no surprises. Here's what happens from your first conversation to the day your loan settles.

1. A free 30-minute chat

Tell Peter what you're trying to do and where you're at now. By phone, video or in person. You'll leave with a clearer picture and an idea of your next step.

2. Understanding your situation

If you'd like to go ahead, Peter gathers your income, expenses, debts and goals, and checks what lenders will need to see. He'll send a simple document checklist.

3. Comparing options

Peter compares suitable loans from the lender panel and explains them in plain English: rate, fees, features and how each lender treats your circumstances. You'll get his recommendation and the reasons for it, in writing.

4. Application and approval

Peter prepares and lodges the application, deals with the lender's questions and keeps you updated. You'll know where things are up to before you have to ask.

5. Settlement and beyond

Peter coordinates with the lender, your conveyancer or lawyer through to settlement. After that, he'll check in from time to time to make sure your loan is still working for you.

What does it cost?

The first chat is free. In most cases, Peter is paid a commission by the lender when your loan settles, so you don't pay him a fee. He'll tell you how he's paid, and any fees that do apply, before you apply.

This page is general information only and doesn't take your personal objectives, financial situation or needs into account. Lending criteria, fees and charges apply. Talk to Peter about your circumstances before making a decision.
